Carbon filters are key in preserving your membrane life so a high quality, efficient carbon block is key in protecting your membrane from chlorine attacks which will burn holes in the membrane sheet. Unlike many window cleaning suppliers, we opt for a higher-grade carbon block filter as it offers increased protection for your membrane.

The most commonly sold filters are the Spectrum CB range and the Spectrum ESP range. The CB range is a basic carbon block filter which has lower capacity and efficiency in comparison to the ECB 10" and Refyne 20" carbon filters.

The SSP range of filters have a higher dirt holding capacity compared to the ESP range. Due to this the SSP filter is better suited to the requirements for RO systems.

The Carbon filter is made from Acid Washed Bituminous Carbon which delivers chlorine reduction efficiency levels of 60%.

Not suitable for drinking water.
